Hello lovely people, this is blog number 2!
It’s been a very busy start to the year for The Bake Bar as I’ve been working hard getting ready for our upcoming wedding fayres across Yorkshire in the coming weeks. I’m really looking forward to getting in front of potential customers and finding out how we can make their special day unique to them.
I know they will be chaotic and manic weekends, but my wonderful friends and family have been volunteering to help out, which I know will make them all the more fun and less stressful. Personally I think they probably volunteered in the hope for a few free tasters…
The thing I still can’t get used to about running a small business, is that the variety of the work is so broad. I can spend the morning designing leaflets until my eyes go square, and then in the afternoon I’m creating a brand new recipe for Baileys Brownies! And, while it’s challenging, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
